Our Mission

No matter where we are in our walks of life, we all can struggle with purpose, identity, and meaning. You might have a sense that there’s something better waiting for you. We want to meet you at your point of need and help you learn about the hope and peace that only Jesus can offer you in this very moment - truly something better.

Through Something Better, we want to connect you to a community of people all around the world striving to grow in knowledge and faith of the hope that Jesus gives us. This community is called GodLife, and through it, we will send you devotionals every week, strengthening verses from God’s Word, the Bible, and encouragement for any situation you are in. THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOS

Michael Belk has been a fashion photographer and creative director for over 30 years. His images have appeared in Vogue, Elle, GQ and Vanity Fair for clients that include J. Crew, Nautica and Christian Dior.
After sensing that God was nudging him to use his talents for new purposes, Michael and his wife Cheryl set out on an amazing journey to create a collection of fine art photographs depicting the modern-day relevance of Jesus. The result is the magnificently beautiful and thought-provoking Journeys with the Messiah.
Bold and imaginative, Journeys’ 34 images capture first-century Jesus intimately interacting with twenty-first century people. This one-of-a-kind photographic journey creates a depth of feeling and emotion with images that are comforting, enlightening, full of hope and challenging.
“It is our prayer that these images and the messages they depict ignite a passion in the viewer to enter into a deeper relationship with Jesus or consider Him for the first time.”
> Photographed in the ancient town of Matera, Italy, this inviting collection of 34 images is available for viewing at JourneyswiththeMessiah.org
